STEM Competition 2018
Each year, with the help of STEM, we run a competition with schools across Scotland for students to design an advert for a job role in the sciences. The remit is for students to create a job advert which includes a short description of the kind of tasks they would expect the successful candidate to be involved in on a daily basis and include subjects that the applicants should have studied at school (these should be either Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Geography).
The winning entries each earned £100 in vouchers for their schools, with the first prize winner also receiving £200 for their own.
We have shortlisted and picked our three winners and here they are:

Ellie Sandison, Whalsay School 1st prize

Nicole Smith – countryside ranger 2nd prize

Arboriculturist mark chan Kilmarnock academy 2nd prize
We will showcase the full range of entries soon. Well done to Ellie, Nicole and Mark.
