ESOL Volunteer Tutor Programme at SRUC Elmwood

It”s that time of year again when the Volunteer ESOL Tutor Programme will be running its training course: PDA ITESOL.

SRUC ESOL students visit Falkland Palace

From October 2017, this online Moodle course will train you to work with ESOL learners in a variety of situations. There is no cost for the course, just a commitment to Volunteering on the SRUC Elmwood Campus afterwards.

If you’re interested in working with learners from a variety of cultural backgrounds and feel strongly about helping them to settle in Scotland, then please consider volunteering for us – it’s a really worthwhile programme.

Please also feel free to pass this info around to your friends ands family as well – we have a high demand for volunteers right now!

For more information and to express interest, please get in touch with Pauline Blake-Johnston.

Dear Ms Blake-Johnston.

I am writing to express an interest in the volunteer ESOL programme.
I have an MEd in Applied Linguistics and a CertTESOL and have over 15 years teaching EFL, EAP and exam preparation.

Please could you provide me with some further information regarding this programme.

Kind regards

Kirsty Duff
