Burns’ Day
Here in Scotland we have a proud tradition of celebrating the birthday of our Bard, Rabbie Burns. On January 25th in 1759, Robert Burns was born in Alloway in Ayrshire. Among his many celebrated poems is perhaps one of the most renowned – “To A Haggis”.
In preparation for Burns’ Night at SRUC Elmwood, we whipped up a haggis and gave it its full honours in the Themes Training Restaurant.
Slàinte Mhath!
It’s Burns Day today which means we must celebrate the mightiest of foods: the haggis. #rabbieburns #SRUCHospitality #burnssupper #haggis
