The Marketing and Student Recruitment team at SRUC recently scooped two awards at the College Development Network’s annual Marketing Awards, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
Four members of the team, Hannah D’Mellow (Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager), Anouska Curzon (Edinburgh Campus Marketing and Student Recruitment Officer), Laura Hopcroft (Graphic Designer) and Rich Gordon (Digital Marketing Officer) attended the event at Glasgow’s Drygate Brewery.
The team won awards in two categories: Bronze in Digital Marketing for the Cultivate Online blog (which you’re currently reading) launched in early 2017, and Silver in Communications and PR for the marketing campaign created around “Hortus Homicida”, the 2017 gold award-winning show garden entry for the 2017 Gardening Scotland event.
The event was compered by Jim Leishman, former Dunfermline FC footballer/manager and latterly Provost of Fife, who had everyone in stitches all night with his hilarious stories. The team was also treated to a phenomenal 3 course banquet provided by Drygate Brewery.
Hannah D’Mellow said:
“I am delighted by my team’s results in this year’s awards, which is our best achievement yet at the annual awards ceremony. It is fantastic to see our hard work being recognised.”
The College Development Network helps colleges to deliver education excellence in Scotland. This was the 20th anniversary of the Marketing Awards.
