Animal Behaviour and Welfare Visit
Earlier in the week, the Animal Behaviour & Welfare degree class from Aberdeen Campus, attended the biannual Animal Welfare Day at the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh. The event was in correlation with the Royal Dick Veterinary School and provided talks from a range of researchers, vets and consultants, including the SRUC research team. Topics varied from tickling rats, to pigs in space. The students had an insightful and enjoyable day, recommending all students interested in any aspects of animals to attend this event in the future.
