A Design for Life

This year’s show garden entry to Gardening Scotland by 2nd year Garden Design students at SRUC Edinburgh is called Lifeline and focuses on the protection of plants and life. As the students begin their campaign to promote, build and display their garden at Gardening Scotland, we thought it was time to introduce each of the students in the group. First up, we meet the garden’s designer Lucy Rowland.

Home town: Birkenhead

Describe yourself:  Inquisitive, English chatterbox 🙂  Lucy Rowland

Favourite design style: Italianate

Design Icon: Piet Oudolf

What’s your motto? Start somewhere

What are you most looking forward to at Gardening Scotland?  Really looking forward to building the garden and seeing it unfold when we get there! Can’t wait to see all the other show gardens and exhibits!
